Off the X Tactics

OTX is not just your standard tactical training program. One of the most dangerous positions to be in as LE is on your back in a fight or with a resisting party. Our spectrum is from teaching tactics to keep you on your feet to survival skills and controlling a situation if you do end up on the ground. Through our training you will learn tried and true methods to maintain or regain control of a quickly escalating situation. You will learn, through technique and scenario training with role players, various effective control and defensive tactics techniques with which you will find immediate application. We have found through experience and feedback each participant will absolutely walk away with new and improved skillsets designed to de-escalate and safely control potentially volatile environments with less or no injury to both aggressor and protector.

“We don’t rise to the level of our expectations; we fall to the level of our training.” – Archilochos

We are raising the bar.

Choosing a job in public service or military selectively and intentionally minimizes your options with fight or flight response. We want to prepare you to survive the fight. The world has changed. Where an officer could expect compliance 80% of the time, now an officer faces resistance 80% of the time and are constantly being challenged. Drawing your weapon before you are ready for lethal force just minimizes your options and may put you at greater risk. We’ll give you many, many more non and less lethal tools in between. We want to give you the skills and ability to protect those who may not be able to protect themselves and further provide you the ability to get home safe. With that in mind, we will provide you the training and experience to make a decision and respond swiftly, naturally and strategically. We want you to be able to get off the X as an instinctive response.

Welcome to Off the X Tactics.

Duty belt and gear is optional for all classes. NO LIVE WEAPONS IN THE BUILDING. We obviously support the right to bear arms (with the dedication to morally sound use and proficient handling), we just want to uphold the highest safety standards for training and simplify the safety measure process for more efficient training and for your safety. We have training weapons for your use during class.
